If you look closely, you'll see they opted for the sloped bottom rail and notched spindles which allows for better water drainage and prevents rot.  Oh, how I wish I was sitting on this deck right now, Mai Tai in hand!

Porch Project Update #2

This Cleveland Heights, OH homeowner used our very popular 4x26" Revival Porch Spindles and 2x6" 4-piece Porch Rail System in Port Orford Cedar wood on multiple upper and lower porches.  I can just see myself at a barbeque sitting on the main porch with my boots up on the railing.  Wait, hmmm... maybe that's why I haven't been invited to a barbeque?!

Before:Even the poor dog looks dissapointed in the lack of a porch rail, which of course is natural.  He didn't make it in the "after" picture, but I'm sure he's much happier now.
