Some of the custom porch projects and restorations we have done are displayed here.  Of course pictures don't do these substantial porches justice, but they may give you some ideas and help you visualize your project.

A modest 10,000 square foot home in Washington, Georgia using our custom 4x28" C18 Tuscan Douglas Fir porch spindles.  This homeowner liked our 4x26" C15 Tuscan Douglas Fir porch spindles but needed a 28" length.  We made these spindles 28" tall and stretched the turning from 15" to 18".  Do you think it came out okay?

We'll try to get pictures when the curved stair railing is complete.  Check back soon!

A gorgeous deck in Cleveland Heights, Ohio using our 4x26" A15 Revival Douglas Fir Porch Spindles and our    2x6" Port Orford Cedar rail with 2x4" skirting.  This is an excellent example of a 26" spindle, along with rail, skirting, and toe space being used to meet a 36" top rail building code requirement.  Beautiful work guys!

A front porch remodel on an old mining town mansion right here in Helena, Montana.  They used our custom 4x28 A17 Revival Redwood Spindles for this custom front porch project.  Note the use of 2x6" top & bottom rail, 2x4" top subrail, and 2x4" bottom rail skirting.

A beautiful deck in Streamwood, IL using our 4x26 A15 Revival Port Orford Cedar Porch Spindles and 2x6 Port Orford Cedar Railing completed just in time before winter sets in.  Note the use of our 2x4 Cedar flat subrail under the top rail and 2x4 Cedar vertical skirting under the bottom rail.  As with most of the porches using 4x4 spindles you see on this site, these are spaced every 6" on center.  Doing so meets the building code requirement of a space no larger than 4" between the spindles at their narrowest part.  And, most importantly, it creates a stunning Victorian look.

The following house was featured on the History Channel's "Save Our History, A Victorian Reborn".  They used our 4x26" C15 Tuscan Redwood Porch Spindles (also available in Port Orford Cedar).  Check it out next time you're in Salisbury, North Carolina.<---Before
